4. Embedded Video

Some pages may include videos hosted by services such as Vimeo or YouTube. Where possible, we show a local preview image first and connect to the video provider only after you choose to play the video.

Once a video is loaded, the provider may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies or use similar technologies. This is controlled by the provider, particularly if you are signed in to an account with them.

You can choose not to play an embedded video. Where practical, we use the provider’s privacy-enhanced or do-not-track options to reduce unnecessary data collection.
